A Joyful Day In The Life Session in South Austin

Big families are such fun to photograph. The madness of many kids is always a feast for my camera, especially when I am granted an entire day to settle in. Then everyone’s self-consciousness falls away and my camera becomes almost invisible, and it’s real life that shines through. So I was genuinely excited when this client wanted to capture “the best time in our lives so far” with her husband and kids, ages 6,4,2 and 5 months. I joined them at home from breakfast through bedtime on a random Friday And there truly was a joy bubble surrounding all the real-time kid chaos of snacks and naps and siblings and bickering and mess.
